Europe
and Israel – Partners for Peace
Jerusalem —
After almost three years of unrelenting Palestinian violence and
terrorism, hope appears to be returning to the Middle East and to
the lives of the common citizen – Jew and Arab alike. The
new climate of accommodation – a direct outgrowth of the strategic
and geopolitical realities created by the resolute response to 9/11
and the removal of Saddam Hussein – has terrorism on the defensive,
while the forces of moderation and stability enjoy renewed momentum
over those of tyranny and fear. (Full

Jewish Leader Speaks Out Against Unfair "Road Map" Demands
Speaking
from New York, Jewish community leader Howard Winkler spoke out
this week against the unfair demands that are facing Israel. It’s
no surprise that these demands fit right into terrorists’ demands
that are designed to destroy every Jew from their homeland, Israel.

welcomed Senate inclusion of an amendment to require the Annual

anti-Semitism. Senator George V. Voinovich (R-Ohio) sponsored the
measure as Amendment 1186 to S. 925, the bill authorizing appropriations

The Senate is likely to vote on the full authorization package within
the week. (Full

So
Far, So Bad
by

The
so-called Road Map was formally released on April 30, 2003, less
than 3 weeks ago. Reading from the official document on the US State
Dept. web site, we find the key requirements for Palestinian compliance
in Phase I under the caption “Security”. That reads, in part:
“Palestinians declare an unequivocal end to violence and terrorism
and undertake visible efforts on the ground to arrest, disrupt,
and restrain individuals and groups conducting and planning violent
attacks on Israelis anywhere.” (Full

by

Intelligence
sources say that Syria received members of Saddam regime who fled
coalitions forces and that they have their own weapons of mass destruction
program. Now comes a bi-partisan bill, introduced by two of the
most experienced members of the House International Relations Committee,
ELIOT ENGEL (D-NY) and ILEANA ROS-LEHTINEN (R-FL) to address some
of the threats that Syria poses to regional and global peace. Senators
Rick Santorum (R-PA) and Barbara Boxer (D-CA) will introduce the
bill in the Senate. You may want to share it with your own Congressman
and Senators. (Full Story)
Iraq
as a model for Palestine
by
Chuck Chriss
Do
you recognize this scenario? An evil dictator, whose corrupt regime
oppresses and exploits his own people, obtains prohibited weapons
and threatens neighboring countries with armed conflict while supporting
international terrorism. The dictator commits serious human rights
violations, uses lies and propaganda to cover his actions, and brands
his enemies as the source of the problems. The international community
of nations is split between those who see the dictator for the brutal
menace he is vs. those who oppose any action against the dictator
and find ways to heap blame on the democratic countries in conflict
with the dictator. (Full

THE PALESTINIAN-IRAQI AXIS, established during WW2, when COLLABORATING
WITH THE NAZIS, is solid. The Iraq-PLO axis was employed by the
Soviets against the US and its Mideast allies. It has been reinforced
– since the establishment of the PLO – by personal, ideological,
financial, political and terrorist webs. It has been nurtured by
the entire PLO political infrastructure, including Arafat and his
top deputy, ABU-MAZEN, who was a chief architect of PLO ties with
the USSR and East European ruthless dictators (Would the US consider
removing Saddam, while anointing one of his deputies?!). (Full

War: Why are the Palestinian Arabs Winning?
by
Chuck Chriss
Israel’s
supporters are dismayed by press coverage of the conflict between
Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. While most of us supporters think
it is transparently obvious that Israel is right and the homicide
bombers are wrong, somehow the world press often reports it differently,
preferring to focus sympathetically on the "brutal occupation",
the "plight of the refugees", and the "cycle of violence".
When they report the deaths of "innocent civilians" it
is more often Arabs killed by the IDF than Israelis killed by terrorists.
Why does this happen? (Full

But,
Mubarak is an Ally…
By
Yoram Ettinger
THE INTENT OF THE $1.9BN ANNUAL U.S. AID TO EGYPT (over $30BN since
1980) has been to advance pro-US policies, to constrain anti-US
elements, to promote regional peace, and to reduce proliferation
of weapons of mass destruction. However…
1. MUBARAK WAS LOBBYING WASHINGTON
ON BEHALF OF SADDAM, in 1990, a few months before Iraq’s invasion
of Kuwait. He misguided key US officials and legislators, painting
Saddam as a constructive ruler, thus facilitating US assistance
to Saddam ($5BN loan guarantees, sensitive technologies, intelligence-sharing,
etc.). In 2003, MUBARAK UNDERMINES USA WAR ON SADDAM, by convening
a special session of Arab Foreign Ministers, intended to bolster
UN, French, German, Belgian anti-US initiatives. (Full
